DAKINE goes green for Project Blue
Look for DAKINE's uber-cool recycled surf packs--the Oceana for girls and Recon for guys--made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. These special-edition packs feature a seam sealed wetsuit pocket, insulated cooler pocket and organizer pocket. Both bags are constructed with 100% Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) fabric and lining which is made from recycled plastic bottles. The packs also feature recycled buckles and use a non-toxic Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) waterproof fabric backing. Two dollars from the sale of each pack will be donated to The Surfrider Foundation. In stores January 2009.
