Crystal Thornburg and Dave Homcy at Chinatown Boardroom
Chinatown Boardroom proudly presents August's Surf Discussion Series speaker, Crystal Thornburg and Dave Homcy: Crystal is an accomplished longboarder, and an all-around ocean athlete who races outrigger canoes, competes in long-distance swims and paddleboard races, kayaks, bodysurfs and freedives. Crystal is an ambassador for Patagonia as well as a dedicated environmentalist and philanthropist. When she is not traveling the globe she resides on the North Shore of Oahu. Dave has followed his passion for surf photography and cinematography working in the film industry for over 20 years. He has worked on notable surf movies such as “Surf Wise” Broke Down Melody” and most recently “Sliding Liberia”. Join Crystal and Dave as this dynamic duo talks about surfing, making surf films, and what really matters in life. The Surf Discussion Series creates a forum for people to meet and discuss surfing, culture and life.
